So, it looks like me +1 will be coming. And with a wedge if it all works out. What is the latest plan for the weekend? Just read the last few pages of this thread and there wasn't much info in it, apart from some cocking about wink

Hi Howard...A couple have become available from another party that are having a meeting the same weekend but i think they got wind that theres going to be over 50 Loud TVR machines turning up on the Friday and Saturday and so their quiet weekend won't be so quiet...laugh

Also certain parties on other forums seem to think that the BBWF is just a big pi55 up and has no class now...So as the current organiser of this prestigious event i would like to take this opportunity to say a few words on this subject.....

I can only speak from experience....I have been with the Wedge community for 6 years now which in comparison to some of you is minuscule but what i have experienced are people who are what i would call..."Beautiful souls" as they are genuine...Caring and passionate about what they believe in...Never greedy or penny pinching...Always willing to help in ANY situation...I mean christ when i had Delilah people were offering to drive down to me from the furthest northern regions of this fine country just to help fix her...Thats just amazing.

So when i learned of the BBWF i thought i just have to get there and meet these wonderful people.....Prior to all of this as most of you know i had a very traumatic experience that left me scarred for a very very long time and occasionally effects me still now...However i won't go into it again but TVR Tasmin/Wedge was my salvation...bow

Im a man who can mix with all sorts of people from different backgrounds and experiences and i have always been fascinated by interesting people...Not just the famous ones...smile

I have felt indebted to you all since the day i joined and will always owe it all to you for the way you have embraced me....I know i can be off the wall quite a lot of the time as i always try to see the funny side of life as it is way too serious sometimes and we are a long time dead...

However i can be sensible and serious when need to be so let me say that everything i do for you is done with pride..Decency and respect..Sometimes the passion means i cannot hold my tongue...Being bullied and physically abused as a child doesn't help...(Again thats a different story)....But i try.

So my pledge to you all is that i will always be transparent in respect of handling the monies that you all give in support of this amazing event....That i will always endeavour to create an experience second to none for you to always remember...That i will always have your best interests at heart...That i will always strive to create a bigger and better event each year which will see the biggest baddest gathering of all models of TVR Tasmin/Wedge in history...From the 200 to the illusive 660SEAC...I will never try to divide a particular model from the chain of TVR Wedge history as they are ALL important and deserve respect...I will always try to save them from the hands of butchers and people who want to destroy them for their own needs...

Now to the matter of "Class".....All i need to say on that is that it takes a certain "Class" of person to love these rare beasts and to feel and share the passion...All i can say is you are ALL top class people in my book....I love you like a brother would.

So make sure you all buy me a drink at this years fest ya tight bastids.........laugh

Seriously though...Im really looking forward to seeing you all again...And of course meeting new and wonderful like minded people is alway an added bonus...

Much love....Ziga

By the time I read that passage, there was a tear in my eye. In Wedge ownership, it's almost as though you have found a new religion with its devout followers. It has cured you of your sprititual problems and brought you understanding of life, consequently gave you a path to leadership. I am very happy for you and so let me be the first to congadulate you on your success, brother Mark.

Thank you for the kind words Tony...I have always had a good understanding of life and have always been a spiritual being but being part of the Wedge fraternity has helped me to see it all and understand it a lot clearer...Seeing people enjoying something that you have created for them is a wonderful feeling...Im sincerely honoured to be in such a position to be able to do that...Thank you...Ziga
