Hi GinG, message received, thanks, will send a mail tomorrow. smile

Hello Ziga,

I contacted KMI, and they could sell me a new AAD, injectors, and an accumulator, and, of course, refurbish the WUR and metering head.

My current plan is to try your adjustments on the metering head; if it still misbehaves, I'll buy the accumulator and have the WUR and metering head refurbished, but try the £20 Capri AAD for now to keep the cost down. I'll poke the injectors only if required once the rest is sorted. I'll also replace the fuel lines and hook up the standard fuel filter while I'm at it...

Hi Tim...Thats good news..Steve is a really helpful bloke..It is fairly expensive to replace and to refurbish all whats needed but i had to do it to my 280i as it was a pointless and menial exercise trying to work around it..As long as Delilah is getting used today then her K-Jetronics should be good for another 30 years...I managed to find parts that were literally hens teeth like an original...Still in the box brand new top coolant inlet...It makes sense at the end of the day...In the beginning i bought a basket case...I fell in love...Then 3 years later after a whirlwind of passion and pain we sadly parted company....(Sorry Delilah...I had to have a model with bigger B's...I still love you though...Unless you have been called a mans name...That would just be weird!)....She became one of the most reliable cars i have EVER owned..She gave many a new car a jump start embarrassingly for them and whenever i used to pass a new car broken down i would shout out.."Should of bought a TVR".....smile
