Thanks Tony...I meant what i said though and it would be lovely to see you and your good lady again.

I really do value and appreciate peoples concerns and input as regards to the venue but you need a little more faith in me as i would not want to let anyone down in any aspect of the event.

Unfortunately my recent attempts to visit both the Abbey and Topcats has been thwarted by a couple of minor setbacks but rest assured i will be going there very soon and will be addressing these concerns and putting peoples fears at ease.

I do not eat shyte food and would not expect the people i call my friends to either...Just to make you feel better my room at the Abbey is the smallest attic room they have with a tiny window that you can barely see out of...But as long as its clean and comfortable then I'm okay...My main concern is that the rest of you are catered for first.

If the Abbey can serve a breakfast on par with the Hot Rod Diner we got to then we are all well sorted...

M22 brass ring for brazing on to rad and "proper" TVR Griffith rad fan switch already bought in advance to convert from current otter switch.

Thats the way to go mate...I had the otter switch opening welded up on mine...I still need to fit a fan switch thermo coupling though...

Hi Peeps...Its not often that i quote myself...But this has now been extended to everyone and there may even be another surprise...(No not me running naked through the hotel...What a horrible thought)...Although i do sleepwalk...Anyway it gives me great pleasure to say that we are nearly at the 40 room marker...Very very impressive...I still have another block of rooms on hold so ....

Looks like the convoy to Topcats is going to be impressive.....

Just an update also for those who are arriving on the Saturday.....

The booking in times for Wroxall are 3pm and booking out 11am, However there is a possibility that our rooms may be ready early..

I have asked for a back up plan so if you are arriving early on the Saturday 9th July 2016 and have just driven a long way in the blistering hot 32 degree sunshine that we are going to have then you can leave your luggage at the hotel and use their showers in the SPA area to freshen up.

If you are going straight to Topcats then I'm not sure they have a facility but i will find out....If its just a matter of cooling down then hey...Ill bring my sprayer....

It would be amazing if we have the whole place to ourselves....They will have to re-name it for the weekend to Wedge Abbey......Just hope they have enough beer!

Mmmm...It more so miles travelled in a Wedge.....We had a guy from New Zealand last year..Admittedly he was just passing and happened to be in the area...But you will have the Tee shirt..A mug and a tan....

Hi Peeps...Unfortunately a couple of people have had to cancel their room bookings due to unforeseen circumstances which means a couple have been freed up...However if you have to cancel then please contact me first as i may be able to save you from losing your £40 deposit....Its bad enough not being able to make it to the event...Let alone be fined over it...

And of course please also contact me for your unique booking code if you can make it...There will be a rush on once the update goes out, Which is any day now!....We are well on the way now to 50 rooms sold...Double what it was last year...Wedgetastic.....

Don't worry mate we will be....The initiation is only a small 4litre..(7.03902 pints) flagon of scrumpy jack that has to be downed in under 30 seconds...

Then its 2 x 360's within a chalked area in you P&J.... Then its back in for a full round of stilton..


Then its a large plate of freshly cooked garlic mussels ..

Followed by a very large bowl of...

And then finally you have to spin on the spot for 5 revolutions whilst shouting your PH handle....


If you throw up then you're out!......

Just to also let you all know there are only 2 rooms available now....I can put people on a reserve list as i have a first refusal agreement with the Abbey on room availability...There is a couple of smaller groups booked the same time as us but they may reduce their booking....I hope so as we will have the place to ourselves pretty much....

Hi mate...As it stands at the moment there are 47...The majority being Wedges staying at Wroxall and i think around 10 or more joining us at the Abbey to leave for Topcats Racing on the Saturday morning after the photoshoot.

Im going to try to arrange a couple of motorcycle cops as a police escort so that we get there as a unit/Convoy....After all I'm having to apply for an MSA exemption which you need for over 30 cars in a convoy...

There should be up to 100 cars on the day...Most models of TVR...Lotus...TR7....SD1....VXR V8...There might be a Noble Twin Turbo and some other exotics...Some of Topcats customers have asked if they can come as well....Errrr......Okay then....So should be a busy day.....
