Hi peeps

Just to remind you of the food...Hopefully this will help you to decide...

As usual i will need to know ANY food preferences or allergies.

The Friday night meal will be at the hotel...I will negotiate something for us.

We could have a BBQ weather permitting....

2 Course BBQ = £20 per person.
Cajun Chicken Thighs
Cumberland Whirls
Homemade Burgers
Vegetable Kebabs in Rosemary Oil
Baked Jacket Potatoes with Parsley Butter
Mixed Green Salad
Coleslaw
Condiments/Sauces/Relishes
Followed by…
A Selection of Desserts

Or

Finger Buffet = £16.95pp

A selection of Meat & Vegetarian sandwiches
Garlic Bread
Mini Quiche
Five spice chicken thighs
Sausage rolls
Crisps
Mixed Green Salad

Or

Hot Dish Buffet
1 choice £14.95pp / 2 choices £16.95pp

A choice from:
Chilli Con Carne served with Rice
Chicken Korma served with Rice
Cottage Pie served with Vegetables
Beef Lasagne served with Garlic Bread
Mushroom Stroganoff served with Rice
Meat/Vegetable Stir Fry served with Noodles
Mixed Green Salad

They can add a second course of desserts for £3.95 per person.

We can have the BBQ and be seated inside.

Cheers...Ziga

Hi Mark, my preference would be seated indoors and the hot buffet. Given our typical UK weather I wouldn't risk the BBQ or outdoor seating. No allergies here. Cheers.

Now were talking.... Food... my favorite subject

Ziga.. I think I spotted a mistake on your above post... it should say

2 Course BBQ
AND
Finger Buffet
AND
Hot Dish Buffet

haha.. only kidding

I like the sound of all the choices ( no suprizes there !! ) but the Hot Dish Buffet does sound particularly scrummy - would get my vote.

Only allergic to Eggs

Nice one.
Dom

BBQ menu for us - outside would be nice if the weather is kind, but inside if not.

I think there's a mistake in the menu, shouldn't it read:

Mini Quiche
Five spice girl thighs
Sausage rolls

Anyhow my vote is to stay in Eur... I mean the BBQ.

Hi Peeps...Time waits for no man or beast so please bear in mind that the fest is only just over 9 weeks away...This sounds loads but is in actual fact getting tight for time for me organising it...I still have the shirts & Caps to organise..The trophies...The event steins...The programmes...Food menu's...Price board for the BBWF catering van on the Saturday..(The bugger van...laugh..Still makes me laugh...Sorry)...Getting the route for the convoy approved and possibly aided by Warwickshire constabulary...More on that later...Sorting out room and SPA bookings....Arranging event layouts and seating areas...Food.....Ahhh....Food...Isn't it a wonderful thing...I love it and i know you do to...lick...burger

So can you have a think about what you would like to eat please.

My choice would be for the Saturday evening annual Wedge dinner & Dance would be a BBQ with seating outside ...As long as we are blessed by the weather gods.

If they do decide to spoil our evening there is plenty of seating inside and i will have a reserved area in case this happens.

The courtyard is an old stable block but is an ideal area for a BBQ...We then could have the presentations inside of the courtyard.

Presentation room:...Well half of it...

The courtyard also has its own bar and adjacent areas.

The cars will be parked outside the Abbey for the shoot in the morning with Nelly & Vicky...Two stunning models...Oh yeah...yes

So can i please have a consensus on the food department as i need to be committed in four weeks time...Not me personally...Although at this rate one can only surmise.

I will also need to be aware of any food allergies or intolerances.

Thank you

beer

I'll go with the flow but the missus gets grumpy if it's cold outside and will insist she stays warm indoors drinking lots of fizz! Sitting outside in a bloody thick coat might not be ideal.

Keith the event is in the second week of July so we should be okay mate....I will be weather watching as we can also have the BBQ cooked outside and served inside...Or we can have a choice from the buffet meal...Its not one menu or another...We can choose what ever we would like but I'm obviously trying to keep it less confusing for them...smile

I will make sure they can cater for all of our food requirements....smile

I noticed there is a fair amount of spicy food on the BBQ menu so i will ask for some plain/Chargrilled chicken and we definitely need potato Wedges...Its a Wedgefest for FFS!!!....smile
They also have these menus that you can choose from.

These will also serve as the Friday night "Meet n Greet" menu's.

BRONZE

SILVER

GOLD

PLATINUM

There will be options for vegetarians and i will elaborate on them once i have discussed it further with Wroxall.

Cheers

Hi Rev...The consensus is a BBQ and as we are forecast one of the hottest weekends on record to date and i suspect some of us will be sitting down..smile

I just need to know of any food allergies/Preferences...i:e..Intolerances to Gluten or lactose...Diabetics type 1 or 2 ..Vegans...Vegetarians..Or any religious preferences...

Any cake or cake based dessert must NOT be blatantly wafted under my nose...(Mr PK500) as i cannot eat it anymore....frown However I'm not being derogatory towards the cake as i still find them very attractive....lick

Cheers
