I am still trying to trace my brother in law's 420SEAC which we went and bought from then a one lady owner, when it was just a year old for 17.5k. He used it for several years, then part exchanged it for a Ferrari 348 spider at Marenellow's in Egham. I haven't seen that SEAC since. It is red and the reg no. is E754FLL. Could it be this one I wonder? It's showing SORN on the road tax check.
Is this find a red car?

Hi Tony,

I bought that TVR 20 years ago, the drivers seat had been raised under the actual seat frame for the first lady owner. It’s now sitting with me in Bristol (in need of a little work but garaged for last 14 years). I also bought it for £17,500 from a TVR garage in Barnet (London).

Now that’s interesting. The TVR garage in Barnet has since closed down and I believe have merged with another company and are now in Ware as Bespoke Performance. I use to go to the garage in Barnet/ Arkley for servicing but now use the one in Ware for any TVR work.
My brother in law part exchanged that SEAC for a Ferrari 348 at the main Ferrari dealership Marenelows I think they were called, but at the time I had a feeling the car would end up back in Barnet/ Arkley TVR as I believe they used them for pricing up the part exchange deal. That’s probably why you bought it in Barnet and the timing is about right because he did part with it around 20 years ago. I have loads of photos of that car somewhere but I just haven’t been able to find them. I would be interested to know a little more about the car, it’s condition etc.
Small world.
