Hi Peeps...It gives me great pleasure in announcing this exciting update.

BBWF 2016 is as we already know being kindly hosted by Topcats racing who have also been kind enough to co-sponsor our FREE event mugs, Footman James Insurance have agreed to also co-sponsor the event mugs.

Our guest of honour this year is the TVRCC's vice chairman Ralph Dodds who will be signing copies of his new and exciting book "Cars of the Peter Wheeler era" at Topcats racing, If you wish to be the proud owner of a signed copy then please email me as they will be on a deposit based order as Ralph cannot return any that are un-sold, I will confirm the price shortly.

Footman James will be offering a good discount to Club members which in balance would be worth joining the club for, They are also kindly sponsoring some of the more prestigious awards that they will present alongside Ralph.

Ralph has also agreed to judge the concourse & Rat Wedge competition at Topcats racing and will be joining us for the Saturday evenings annual Wedge dinner and dance and will be presenting some of the awards for us as well as joining in all the fun.

On the Saturday morning before the convoy sets off to Topcats racing there will be a very special TVR coming to join the already very special White Elephant for a once in a lifetime photo opportunity at the Abbey...

This will be the first time in TVR history that Peter Wheeler's White Elephant and "Vicky's S" which was the last S4 built at the factory with no expense spared seen on the road together at the same time.

For those of you who are unfamiliar with this car it was commissioned for Vicky as a token of Peters love for her, Unfortunately she apparently only drove it a couple of times as it was a bit too spicy and was then parked up at Bristol avenue for years, It was slowly robbed of parts and nearly got scrapped so this special car nearly didn't make the test of time but thankfully was rescued and lovingly restored back to the beautiful car it once was...And now is.

We are expecting "Vicky's S" to be arriving at the Abbey at around 09.30am before we set off to Topcats racing....We will also be joined by a few more "S" drivers...Cerbs..Griffs..Sags..Classics and hopefully some exotics.

I will make full use of the convoy MSA certificate which may involve a police escort so that we stay as a convoy..Otherwise whats the point of having it...smile...More on that later.

I have also invited SMA UK to bring a stand to help raise awareness of what they do and how we have helped them these last couple of years and hope to smash the amount we have raised previously.

We have people coming from as far as Germany...Who i must add will be driving all the way...In a Wedge... And Wedge enthusiasts flying in from as far away as Florida....Now that is dedication.

Our very own Maggie Gotts will be hosting this years Raffle and charity auction, Based purely on the fantastic job she did last year...And will also be donating one of her amazing hand made soft toy creations for the auction.

There will be a couple of new and exciting elements to this years fest that will hopefully grow as the event does.

With 50 rooms now sold this years Wedgefest could be heading towards one of the biggest in its 12 year history so to avoid disappointment please contact me ASAP for you unique booking code and place at this years Biggest Baddest Wedge event of 2016.

Our friend John Clancy is coming to film some more parts of the BBWF DVD that will hopefully be on sale as from next year...Im hoping to finalise the DVD with next years even bigger celebrations.

Thank you for supporting your BBWF and i hope i have done you proud.

Viva la Wedge...Viva la TVR.

Amazing job organizing all that. Congrats, Mark. Now if you can also organize the weather . . .

Really looking forward to meeting you all, and putting a face to a nickname.

Wilf.

Thanks...Im happy if you are...Im in negotiations with the weather gods although they was a bit peeved last year when they realised the virgin was a 1000 free texts and 2mb of download...I don't think they realise how difficult it is to find a real virgin...Especially around south east Lebanon...I mean London...
