Cars with a rusty chassis are never easy to shift zoom in on just behind the front wheel in pic 2 and you can see the rusty tubes running out to the outriggers. At least the current vendor is either honest enough or too lazy to try to hoodwink someone by wire brushing them and giving them a coat of paint or underseal and listing it with "newly restored chassis" the next owner may not be so inclined. Was at £12500 to start, currently listed at £10k on dealers website (and has been for a few weeks)
Its a real pity because there's a very good car in there but unless its sold at auction very cheaply it just doesn't stack up from a financial point of view

Wow - just looking up details of some of my old cars and saw this!
This was my old car and I did the engine work. Shame it came to this condition - it was immaculate when I sold it on!
The engine had thousands spent on it - full big valve flowed cylinder heads and a 4.5L that had oversized forged pistons with higher compression. I can't remember who did the work - but they were the v8 engine tuners in the Fens - V8 developments/John Eales?
Anyway - I spent a fortune on the engine and it went very well indeed. Mapped by Mark Adams and pushed out over 320bhp - but I sadly can't remember the exact number.

Peed on the seats? How do you know that? :-)
Peed no - but had a scare one day when I accelerated up the A27 in the rain and the back slid out, causing me to fishtail up the road for what seemed a very long time at a very high speed....

I only did that once and it was in the 280i due to having to brake really hard in the outer lane at 70mph right next to a 40 ton lorry...I came very close to being a Wedge pancake....
