Where are all the Toyo Proxes?

26F/24R IIRC.
It could just be that all the tyres I've had in the past have been a bit more compliant but the Toyos definitely feel a bit tip-toey to me in corners...
That might be your issue then, I have 225 on the front and 245 on the rear so I run equal pressures, but much lower, I used to run 19 psi but now run 20 (measured when cold). If I put that much air in they definitely feel less grippy. With 19 I found that the shoulders were wearing a bit more than the centre of the tread, 20 seems like a good compromise. It could just be that all the tyres I've had in the past have been a bit more compliant but the Toyos definitely feel a bit tip-toey to me in corners...

Hmmm, 225s all round for me. I did have 215s front and 225 rear for a while so maybe that was actually an improvement and now I'm back on standard sizes.Ive always had perfectly even tyre wear apart from when that lower arm inboard bush collapsed which let the OS front wheel do whatever it wanted. I was blaming wear in the steering column until I looked underneath by chance and spotted the OS tyre was almost down to the canvas round the inner edge while still being at 6mm round the outside!
Once I finish fannying about under the nose and get the car back out I might try a few less psi.
I just found these nuts slicks for the road.. road legal too..
