Good Garage for Volvos

I take my XC60 there, great service and I even got a V70 loaner (a nicely run-in 140,000 miler) whilst mine was getting serviced.

They were roughly half the price of a franchised dealer too and on a 6 year old Volvo it's a no brainer.

OK guys but took my V50 there for last service.
- Overfilled engine oil.
- Fitted cheap rear discs that have rusted badly and don't look nice.
- Made a mistake with my booking, told me 1hr but when I arrived told me the planned work would take 3hrs and told me it was my mistake!! The dog got a long walk!

I won't be going back.

It was May 2015, might have been a one off? My general rule of thumb is, if I could have done a better job myself I don't go back.

Ah, I went in October `15 so maybe there had been some tightening up of the operation...

They did my service for roughly half of the cost quoted by a franchised Volvo dealer and considering my XC60 was 6 years old at the time I couldn`t see the point of taking it to the glass palace...

Yup, they were the franchised dealer who quoted £600+!

Good service...does this mean less £'s or a job done better?
So often these are not mutually exclusive.

Many car owners just want cheap and that's the metric by which the garage is measured.
