I think you're going to find that there isn't one answer to your question...

Are you looking for new original clocks? If so then you're going to be out of luck...

Are you looking for seondhand original clocks? If so then contact the usual breakers and prepare to sit down in shock...

Are you looking for clocks that fit the existing locations? If you have a newer Chim or you cut yourself a new dash like I did) then that's going to be easy and my Smiths 'Flight' gauges were about £70 each for the regular gauges, £120ish for the tacho and £200ish for the speedo ... the older Chims used odd sized gauges which you'll probably have a bugger of a time trying to find a size match for...

I am looking for original ones like for like to fit in existing holes? Yellow dials would be good. Just wondering what sort of money they fetch for a set.

OK ... So given that you are looking for specific clocks and they're no longer available new and off the shelf then as far as I see it you have two choices.

1) Wait for a set of second hand clocks and gauges to come up at a breakers - you could be 'lucky' (if someone else is unlucky and writes off their pride and joy) and a set of yellow clocks and gauges comes up in your time-frame. You can probably expect to pay £50 or so for each of the smaller gauges and £100 each for the speedo and tacho going by what I've seen over the last few years (full sets of coloured gauges seem few and far between) and if the person that is selling them knows that you want them badly then their price will be higher.

2) Give Gavin at http://www.caigauge.com/ a shout and see if he can build you a new set to the spec and design that you want, this is probably the only way that you have any control over when you get them and how much they'll cost you. That's what I did.

Douglas Valley sometimes have used full sets - from looking at their ads on ebay they're about £150 a set, but getting the right set to fit your speedo sender etc will be hard work.

The problem is going to be finding a complete yellow set though... frown
