Never read the "million comments inbetween" so probably wrong in spouting up that Zig is a top top guy and since he came to the wedge fold there has been no "Angst" from him whatsoever. Its the others who are the problem, i refer back to a few years ago at a wedge fest which ultimatly stopped me and a few fellow wedgers to boycott future fests. ZIG is a good guy end of!!! Like i said never read all the comments inbetween but the first few of the posts hark back to the bad old days.

Crap demisting in Wedges is one reason that the roof only goes on if it really is raining hard. Trouble is, it's a vicious circle with the roof on, especially with 2 in the car: open the windows slightly to get some air flow, which lets the rain in, which creates more condensation, so you open the window some more, and let some more rain in.......
Roof should never be on end of!!!!!.

Did someone mention AFTERMARKET GLASS SUNROOFS?!
I have wondered a few times, why didn't TVR offer a clip on hard top as well as a soft top ?

When you look at how the hoop is made and attached (and the soft top itself), it would be dead easy to make a roof moulding (like Mercedes did). Then you could have the best of both worlds.... Front of hardtop could clip in just like the targa panel does...

Yeah I know some of us never drive with roof up unless it's hailing (ever been caught in a hailstorm ? I got bruises on my forehead)
but it's still a valid point.

Roof?

What's a roof?

Is it something Griff drivers have to keep their Vaginas dry?

One of the longest-running rumours I've heard in 20-odd years of wedging is that TVR did produce a mould for a hard-top but neither it, nor any roof issued from it has ever been seen.
Closest anyone ever got as far as I know is Graham Walden who made one for his Tasmin DHC racecar.
IIRC he had a bulge moulded in it to clear his helmet (oo-er biggrin)...

In my yoof I had a Mk3 Spitfire which had both soft- and hard-tops and although it wasn't a five-minute job you certainly could swap them quite easily.
