Some 8 and a half years after selling my last Wedge (long story - new baby and had to sell to buy the missus a family car - well my daughter turned 9 last Sunday, so...), today I bought another which I am collecting next weekend. I have done the deal with Gary "billynobrakes" Judd to buy the blue Series 2 350i he's called "Priscilla". It's a mechanically very sound car with very low miles, many new parts and a chassis in great condition - just needs some cosmetic tidying here and there, but nothing serious or in immediate need of rectification. All of which means, it's ready to use and enjoy!

I hope Gary won't mind me sharing one of his photos as, like a numpty, I completely forgot to take any today!

I have spoken to Zig and I'll be at BBWF this year (I'll send the form in the morning - promise!) and look forward to meeting my fellow Wedgers! It's been a long time coming...

Rick, I hope you enjoy "Priscilla" I spent fortune getting all the mechanical bits as they should be and next it was going to be the cosmetics but something else came up that I simply could not resist, anyway I look forward to seeing you and "Priscilla" hopefully you will finish off all the little bits and she should give you years of enjoyment, this is one of my favourite photos taken in France at a fellow Wedge owners little shack just before Xmas on my way to Arras
I will post up a separate thread about my new purchase

Someone turn it round please

Yep, it was the rear wheel bearings just as I thought and because the bushes on the shocks was knackered and you cannot get them anymore she now has new shocks "Spax" as well as wheel bearings

Your new Wedge looks great!

Do you still work in Marden?
I used to enjoy seeing and hearing your old one coming and going whilst at work.

Will I be hearing more V8 goodness soon..?

Good luck with it anyway.

Martin.

Thanks Martin. Yes, still in Marden so look (listen!) out for me on sunny (and not icy) days...
