remote starter switch hookup on a 68 Vixen?

Greetings. I'm trying to do some work on the engine & want to turn it over while working in the engine compartment instead of turning the key on the dash so I want to hook up my remote starter switch. Its the normal two wire one but I have no clue where to hook the two wires at??? Hooking this up to one of my old muscle cars...no problem. The Vixen...not so much. Anybody here use one of these when you work on yours & where do you clip the two wires at? Thanks!

Is this a series one or series two car?

I think you would need to connect it across the low tension side of the solenoid.

its a series 2. its my first foray into British sports cars, been restoring old American muscle for years so working on this Lucas wiring is a bit straining. something as easy as hooking up this trigger remote starter shouldn't be this difficult

and stupid question...where is the solenoid located on a S2 Vixen in relation to the coil?

Mine should be on the bulkhead just next to the battery I believe
