Rear Suspension
Discussion
Can't find the thread atm but a google search should reveal it.
One of the forum dwellers is currently doing a chassis refurb and grafting the Chimera back end on to the Tamsin chassis.
Fitting the A frames will require a mass of work why not address a few other issues with a rear end swap?
Inboard brakes are a b-ache on track and to service.
Diff mount is fragile and, again, a b-ache to swap out.
Camber adjustments need shims at diff end so, yes, a b-ache.
Suspension mounting is poor design prone to trapping water leading to rusting. Again a b-ache to deal with while the body is on.
All these can be addressed with a Chimp/Grief/T350/Tamora rear end. I'd be minded to go for the T350 or Tamora one as it comes with the hubs that match the 5-stud and PCD.

It seems hard to find these bits spoke to Richard at RT racing they don't do them. The problem with welding the rear cage from a Chimera in the Tasmin chassis is the MOT rules on modifying chassis mounting points. You would have to make it bolt in on the standard mounts, but as you say far better geometry .
