Well this has been a bit of a long running challenge for me ..

The car needed an air filtration system..

Originally I thought minimalist, with something like a mesh airfilter

But they are not great for engine life as all they really stop are large stones and not fine grit.

Next I bought some ITG Mega flow air filters but they would not fit between the alloy trumpets
so they went on ebay ..

So it looked like the only option was a custom solution, as it had to fit around the alloy trumpets, alloy access to the rocket covers for maintemance of the solid lifter tappets, alloy easy removal of the thottle cable, mounts for return springs, clear fuel intectors ann fuel rain.

So out with the fibreglass and a few winter months later this is the result:

Did I mention it has lights biggrin

Next I just have to run pipes to either side to air filters ..

Brilliant. Love it. Hope you've got your Wedge baseball cap now worn on a jaunty angle, you've lots of spots and will only be seen in public in a Jack Wills hoodie! (reference to teenage kids for those that haven't got any!)

Just an observation Rev but you have plenty of room at the back of your air box to mount your coil packs and it would make the iner wings look cleaner and better access to the rockers too.
Liking your air box and see through cover with the leds, you could tweek the air intake rear and take the feed from the bottom of the wind screen.

Actually I prefer the inner wing location as its nice and cool. The back of the airbox has a lot going on with the throttle set-up and needs easy access.

Definately would have been if I used the power feed from each of the fuel injectors .. biggrin

You would be amased how difficult getting 8 leds and power and earth feeds into a very small heat shealded chanel.

So... does that mean your SEAC will 'finally' be back on the road this year Alan??

Does look good, but where you going to put the Rockford Fosgate amps and sub woofers! wink

Those amps and subs will take up all the boot space but on the positive side might help to improve traction off the line biggrin

Will probably need something that powerful to overcome the noise from the exhaust.
