Yeh true ' I have found a good selection from " MY TYRES " but not sure what to go for yet ,Pirelli's , Toyo or Nankang even seem to do quite a good tyre . Gonna be 245's all round though .
On my 16 x 9 OZs I went 245 45 at the rear and 225 45 at the front. Not sure 245 45 would work on the front without rubbing somewhere.

I noticed when I went to 245's at the rear, the top end seemed to drop off a bit, presumably to the extra rolling resistance.

245's at the front too might be overkill. I'm on 225's usually and now 215's.

Yes and its a horrible colour hehe funny been out for a proper blast in mine yesterday and noticed the tyres rubbing, looked at uniroyal rainsport 3 my preferred tyre but they only come 225/50/16 so it looks like Toyos 225/40/16 but they are only C rated in the wet so not that great, any advice gratefully received would prefer A - B rated in the wet

I think I've got my tyres sorted . I'm gonna go 225/50/16 on the front . The 50 profile should compensate for stretching them over the 9j rim & 245/45/16 on the rear . Also as the profile is a % of the width they should look the same !
We'll see !!

Even with mine on original 8J and 225/50/15's on there, I did get a couple of grooves ground out over time in the inner wings, on full lock at slow speed, they are ground out now and the first few sets of tyres lost a bit of shoulder.

The centres are in the paint shop this time as I don't have time to do it myself & I'm getting something a bit special done to them wink . I keep checking the tracking details every 5 minutes .....you know what its like , I don't need em yet but I just want them !!
