Good news for fans of TGW who were awaiting the Spin-Off but, like myself, were slightly annoyed CBS had originally said it would only be available via their own streaming site.

C4 last week agreed a deal with CBS for the exclusive UK broadcast rights for the "The Good Fight" and the series will premiere on the 30th March. Like TGW it will continue to be broadcast on More4 in the same Thursday evening slot at 9PM.

CBS Press Release said:
The Good Fight picks up one year after the events of the final broadcast episode of The Good Wife. An enormous financial scam has destroyed the reputation of young lawyer Maia (Rose Leslie - Game of Thrones), while simultaneously wiping out her mentor Diane Lockhart's (Christine Baranski - The Good Wife) savings. Forced out of Lockhart & Lee, they join Lucca Quinn (Cush Jumbo - The Good Wife) at one of Chicago's pre-eminent law firms.

Stephen Tague, SVP Europe, CBS Studios International said: "This is the first original series from our digital subscription video on-demand and live streaming service, CBS All Access, a platform that provides us with yet another opportunity to license our world-class, premium programming to the international marketplace. The Good Wife has been a ratings success for More4, so we are pleased for loyal fans of the series that the spin-off has found its U.K. home here".

Good start / setup so far smile

Nice to see that the characters are actually allowed to swear properly now due to it being online only in the US. I'd got used to always hearing the toned down / replacement swear words on TGW because of pre watershed US mainstream TV hehe

Edit - Certainly quite a few fks all around hehe

New best programme of the week. Alicia Florrick will never be replaced but with a few of the old characters it's as good as it gets and will be fun to see Diane going up against some of them. Intelligent American drama at its best. Oh and loved the opening that Diane wanted to leave the country after watching Trump's inauguration..

Glad you all seem to like it, I loved The Good Wife (although the last season went a little weird). I'll need to watch this online!
