Would be nice to see different examples each year - share the pride, but not sure how the ask goes out (not a pop at you Simon).

None taken, ive only been asked earlier tonight to help out.
I was in due to the win at Blenheim & S Club
The request went out but think the problem is people just dont offer the cars.

So with less than a couple of weeks to go......

Well, as more closely involved in the club as a DRO, I've not seen anything come out seeking volunteers?!

As I said Simon, not aimed at you but the club asking less than 1 week prior to the event via those used before isn't the way to go. Doesn't portray an organised approach.

I'm happy if there's anyone else with an S2 that would like to be on the timeline,
I did find someone else to drive Garv, but happy to park in the field and give someone else a turn.

Could do, but would I be allowed in without shiny 'show' wheels?

I was only asked last night and at first I said no as I will be driving down from Manchester on the Sunday morning.
I was persuaded eventually, but happy to stand down if anybody would like to display their S3C in the "Circle of Trust".

Like Max, I haven't seen the request for display cars publicised, but we are lucky to have somebody to give up their time to co-ordinate things, even at this late stage.

Max, have you thought about pink seat belts? wink

Simon, is that Sugar Ray Robinson with Nina Cherry, or Mr. Ray Thompson with Black Cherry? wink
( It would be nice to see Chrischat at the Show, just so he could confirm that Ray is still looking after that lovely S3. cloud9 )

Must admit I didnt see that either. I also freely admit that, although I am a member and look forward to the magazine, I doubt if I look at the club on line site more than once a year. PH forum on the other hand almost every day!

Last year it did cause a bit of amusement/interest/confusion that the S1 present was mine...the only one in existence I believe fitted with a V8 bonnet!!!! Not quite 100% representative of the marque!*

Cant make it this year folks, got to give priority to something else...or else!!

  • ( proud to say the bonnet misled a Chimaera owner who was trying hard and found the S holding on. He was a bit pissed off later when he found it was a 2.8 not the V8 he had assumed......for some reason I savoured that moment!!)

eye.. Shame they didn't want future or concept S as mine would fit right in... I imagine I have too many mods for the timeline frown

I think that after the imminent retrograde revamp of the PH forum, we will witness a massive migration to the new improved TVRCC forum.

Have a look and see what you reckon... wink
