Well that's it unfortunately, i cannot go to the BBWF 2017

It's the lads eighteenth birthday on the 8th and after weeks of putting off the booking until i could get confirmation that he would be partying with mates, going away or getting pi**ed locally with his mother staying home to manage any silly situations.
Yesterday said wife announces we are having a barbecue on the Saturday with family and friends coming round.

Fecking great, that means i can't even make the journey down to enjoy the Saturday celebrations. I am really not happy at all.rage

At 18yrs old you can legally have sex..Smoke..Vote..Drink and if you choose, take drugs....Does he really need a babysitter???...Id book him a trip to Amsterdam and give him a few hundred quid....I left school when I was 15 and had a job in a engine builders, It was to help my mum bring up my little sister as we didn't have much...and my ole man left us with a debt hanging over our heads and the bailiffs actually came and took our cooker!...eek

Here's a little bit of financial advice.

1. The longer you put off the divorce, the more it will cost you.
2. Freedom has its price, the only question is; are you prepared to pay it.

It was painful and the TVR didn't turn a wheel for well over a year, but worth every penny in the long run woohoo

OH believe me Mark! he would love us to come down and leave him alone and in charge of the house. Its his mother who thinks he needs babysitting and insisting on the barbi. Mind you 18 year old and his mates pi**ed as farts in the houseeek

Just go.
As a mate of mine always says, it's easier to beg forgiveness than ask permission...

Start working on the lad - mention the family BBQ that will be spoiling his partay - his not-favourite aunties and uncles etc who will rub his hair and tell him how much he's grown and the general boredom that will ensue.

Odds are he'll come up with an alternative!

This man speaks the truth.

2 years before mine turned a wheel. But so worth it.
