tyre weld stuff

On a secondary note how good is it? I'm thinking about taking out the space saver in the Chim and replacing it with a couple of cans of this stuff. Don't think I'd feel too confident driving the Chim on a space saver anyway.
I used a space saver on my Chimp when i had it, NEVER again, those things are dangerous, both my cars now don't come with spare tyres so both have a couple of tyre weld cans in them.
I have used the stuff and it worked a treat, and it is better than jacking up and changing the tyre.
I tore into the kerb outside the restaurant at the top of Devils Dyke at 1am tearing great holes out of my front tyre. The spare was in the shed back home and it was then that I realised that Tyre Weld don't cater for all eventualities!
I needed towing home! I spent the first part of the journey back trying to guess how stupid the breakdown guy thought I was on a scale of 1 to 10 before opening my mouth to say "So then...how was your day?"
He turned around and said "I doubt any of "my days" are ever as eventful as one of yours!
Spare is still in the shed and tyre weld in the boot but I duck everytime I pass a green flag pick-up truck.

Anyone any thoughts on getting tyreweld injected into your tyres as a way to pre-empt a puncture? http://www.tyreseal.co.uk/Domesticvehicles.html
I'm not that confident (but never used) in the two cans of tyreweld i keep in the boot, but happy to hear experiences of anyone that has.
Thoughts?

Why would you want to do that? As it goes off it seals the hole. Therefore it would do nothing for a new puncture. It also appears to make a tyre irrepairable.I'm not that confident (but never used) in the two cans of tyreweld i keep in the boot, but happy to hear experiences of anyone that has.

...the video showed the lorry repeatedly driving over the nails. Seems a good idea to me.
Really? I try to avoid driving over nails whenever possible. But I always have the spacesaver in the boot. A can of tyreweld is useless when one of your tyres suffers a burst sidewall. Just sayin'.
