OEM AP rotors/alloy bells with princess calipers etc...

I'm in the process of doing a prototype brake upgrade for the AP 270mm rotor/alloy bell equiped cars (biiiig alloy CNC 4-pots to replace the dreaded princess anvils), having finally got hold of some 'SE OEM rotors/bells. However, while the rotors are in good nick, I suspect they have been machined as they are in fact 269.5mm x 26.7mm...
Has anyone got the AP part number / drawing / new AP rotors so I can get an exact-and-confirmed new thickness? They are referred to as being 270x28mm, but to get a perfect fit I could do with a few measured examples (via digital verniers idealy, +/- 0.1mm would be about right)
Cheers lads! :-)

I've got one unused AP rotor. I don't have any digital verniers, but using a spring calliper and a ruler it does come out at 28mm thick and 270mm in diameter.Has anyone got the AP part number / drawing / new AP rotors so I can get an exact-and-confirmed new thickness? Cheers! Does your one have any part numbers so AP know what I'm talking about?I had a chance to look at my stuff the other day and the rotor is actually 27.7mm x 269.5mm (not the 26.6ish I remembered), so I'm happy that they should be 28.0mm x 270.0mm and mine have had a light skim. They might originally have been intended to be 1.1" thick in actual fact as that's 27.94mm, but there's not a lot in it!!
Here's some eye candy:
I've had another look and there is letters and numbers marked in the black inside coating of the disc - as shown in top half of pic. Not that easy to make out for absolute certain, but looks like:
E846 R16ET CP8261-777P (the 8 could possibly be an X and the 4 an A) Hope this helps.
Is there anything else I need to do to get a complimentary set of brakes
Hallo Guys,
I made an brakekit for the Wedge cars using the TVR/AP 4 potcalipers.Looks nice and brakes very good.Uses 300 x 28 disc and bells. No pad overhand . Just spot on. I hope the copy and paste worked out. It is a (too) tight fit in a 15 inch wheels. You need to get a small corner of the caliper.I also have a set-up with 295 x2 8 disc using the original princess calipers. But lets try this picture first.

Any plans for a more solid design or even 1 piece calipers.
Hi, they do look a little odd but it's a tried and tested design - used in NASCAR etc! The bridge parts are stainless steel, which is why they can be made thinner while retaining their stiffness. This all helps the cooling, resulting in increased resistance to boiled fluid etc. There are bigger calipers still in the pipe-line, including a 6-pot, but there's no plan to use them on the Wedges....(yet!)
