Just fitted my throttle bodies on to the engine.. then spent a while making a few bits of ally to strengthen my new throttle cable mount.. then mig welded it all together. Also welded up a part that I broke, a fuel rail height adjuster.

TB's oh yes. What type, how have you fabricated the linkages and what manifolds are you using?
Worth another thread smile

Here is a picture of them :

TB's are Wildcat, as are the heads.

Exhausts are mine - home made 4 into 1, 1 inch and 3/4 (45mm) stainless with 2 1/2 inch pipes after the collector, 3 inch pipe into the main silencer.

Just finished connecting up the water system this morning.

Nice, very nice! I’d be very interested to hear how those Wildcat heads work out and those 4-1 headers are a work of art – are your taking orders, seriously? I notice the two lambda bosses and wonder what system you are running.

Yes, I know it's Thursday, but I did this at the weekend...!

Typical Wedge seat underside, showing the sliding runners, only one of which is latched (by the lever at top left):

Start by marking the runner centrelines on the seat mounting brackets (which have slotted holes to allow some movement):

The 'new' runner frame with pull-up latch bar vs. the old runners:

Detach the latch bar, find the mid-point, calculate how much tube needs to be removed, mark with tape, cut with slitting disc:

Now it's a simple matter to weld the bar back together, re-attach to the runners, drill a couple of holes and mount the runners to the seat... except it was never going to be THAT simple, as I'd already realised. Essentially these 'new' frames are the wrong ones (they're similar but not identical to the ones I've used before) so I'll need to alter the latch bar as it fouls on the front of the seat... watch this space rolleyes

There are 3 outlets on the master cylinder 2xfront 1 rear then to the caliper I though they should be linked like a landrover or classic range rover but it appears the fluid runs round to both side through the caliper !

Last weekend i removed the engine from the SEAC for the second time after hearing a rather not so good noise from the dizy can drive gear once again coming back from classic LeMans...buggre, so the decision was made to remove strip and inspect fully and i dont do thing by half, so after removing all mounting bolts, pipes, electrics and got the engine hocked up to the block and tackle, started to remove the engine and what did i forget to do, one gear box bolt, once removed the engine came out like a peach hehe got it mounted on a stand, stripped and my local engineer had a look to check a few things.
Every thing looks good inside, just need the crack polished, we didnt take the heads off this time as there was no need, so will need almost all gaskets for the rebuild, a new dizy drive gear and not one of those cheep ones from china....dose any one know of an upgraded oil pump...flow pressure...?
I did find the oil pressure release valve stuck in the closed posision but ive worked on the housing and its moving nicely now.
So next will be a the rebuild and while the engine is out ill change the gear box mounts and replace the oil with the castrol smx stuff plus with the engine out and the car not going to be ready for the rusty (shame) i will get a few other bits sorted out and bolted in.
Ill post some pics soon.
So this weeked had been about cleaning the old hrt and mating surfaces...lovely...
