Hi

I hope to go down to my garages today,(down two flights of stairs on my arse) To sort out all the things from the fest!
Also to get a good look over my SX as I didn't have time at the fest!

The wife's 280i passanger door stopped working on the Sunday so will have to get that sorted today if I can. But doing things from a wheelchair will be a new experience!

I couple of people asked me to bring some spares to the fest. If you were one of those please get in contact, so I can sort out the items for you, so I can post them out to you!

Just been prepping for the MOT next week - had a look at the exhaust rear section and it's "holier than thou" so I've bitten the bullet and put on the whole of Paul (GSX600)'s exhaust that I bought off him a few years ago. It went on fairly easily and sounds pretty good - at least on low RPM. I shall check it out on the road tomorrow.

This means I have a stainless middle box for a standard 400SE exhaust for sale - 90 degree exit and over-driveshaft rear pipe - PM me if you need one.

Just a few more jobs to do and it'll be ready....

Adam you should have put on before WedgeFest, as that's what won me loudest exhaust a few years back at 126db.
So would love to hear how it howls with the SX smile

First impressions are that it's quite an urgent sound, it fairly sings at 5000 rpm ;^) which encourages you to go faster ;^)

Nice burbling/beating too at 2-2500 rpm.

So here comes BBWF13!!!

Jacked up front of wedge, popped my bestest axle stands underneath, pulled wires off fog lights, undone 4 nuts/bolts and dropped front balance out the way. Measured and cut 4 brackets to hold oil cooler, drilled and checked for fit,ok so will paint en up tomorrow. Just gotta wait for new pipes and gasket for sandwich plate, change oil and try it out.
