Fit a four post lift on one side and tuck the Wedge in under one of the other cars. It could also come in handy for repairs.

I'd love to but It's really tight. Means ceiling has to come out which is no biggie, but there are 2 I beams on the top of those pillars, which support the roof, which limit how high the car can go, unless I get a builder to rework the roof support. .. Then there's the rerouting of all the house electrical wiring that goes across that section of roof.

So in 2 words: Big job.

Zig, see that pile of brown carpet on the bottom shelf of the trolley on the left? They're yours.
Thanks Toby.

Maybe it would be better...(If you get time) to transfer them to some 1200 gauge lining paper..That way it won't cost so much in postage...smile

Ill make you a Targa panel bag as agreed...smile

Making good progress on the SEAC.

Cured the crazy 3500rpm tickover by resealing the inlet manifolds.

Started on the mapping around tickover but had issues with the Emerald K3 to pc cable .. kept
loosing connection. Fault traced to the pc end connector. Cable cut and resoldered, all working OK again
but further issues after about 3 minutes running with weird connection errors.

Ordered a new cable as it seems to be the root of issues.

Engine now starts easily and revs .. needs much more work though.

Sounds fantastic but did not get a chance to take any video.

Adjusted the nearside pod (ooer missus) to close flush with the nose... well, flusher than it has done for years biggrin
Suitable fired-up I then adjusted the 'up' bump stop on the other pod so the pod no longer wobbles like Churchill's head over bumps.
Then noticed the S-bend cap was leaking water, had to fabricate a new rubber seal from some 3mm sheet.
Went for a spin, openend the lid to check all was OK and the bloody header tank is sizzling, so obviously that's on the way out (again).
On the plus side, the extra air valve works fine whistlewink

Sounds positive, Rev. Back on the road in 2017, do you think? Be interesting to hear how all that bhp feels like compared to the 'standard' SEAC engine...

Might be sooner than that .. I seriously need to think of insurance and MOT.

Not had to do that for a few years..

Will post up a video soon.

Air box next .. did start after work but torrential rain stopped play.

Fitted a new set of plugs : NGK BCPR7ES as my other plugs were not resisted and causing issues with the engine management.

Have also ordered a set of BCPR6ES as I thing the warmer plugs will suit the engine better with less fouling.

Mapping this weekend.

Did some initial mapping on the drive way .. just zero load sites ..

The camera makes the solid lifter cam sounds worse that it is..

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LG9vpNE0DDo

Got some more jobs to do now we have mapped the tickover mixtures to correct valuers :

Balance TB's .. get the tickover air flows matched .. as they are uneven.

Main fan is working but the other is not..

Need to get more granularity of the TPS load sites just off tickover as mixture goes
imediately very lean on progression.

Really need to get it insured, fit for the road and MOT'ed before mapping under load.

Had a go at balancing the throttles.

Took air reading of each on Sunday and adjusted a few that had high readings plus a left to right bank adjustment as left was doing good all the work at closed throttle.

Could not start it to check it.. noisy car quiet neighbourhood.
