Fitted new veneer to 350i glove box and spent two unsuccessful hours under the dash trying to see why the indicators are drawing so much juice compared to all other electrical circuits.

Re-fitted the bootlid after picking it up from the spray shop yesterday, froze the Nads off doing it, but am well pleased with the finish. She is starting to look as good as she sounds. Now I have to decide what to do about the stickers do I replace the 350i on the boot lid or replace them all with 460i.

Looks like I'll be fitting rear discs and pads to the Connect, probably be a tad parky by the weekend.
Ford wanted £300 to supply and fit; parts were £51 from the local factors, I wonder how many of Ford's staff are on £125 an hour whistle

Been away from home for work for a bit over a week, and not seen the wedge for 3 weeks as it's at the mechanic's for final work before startup. Too scared to call to see how it's going...if at all, and what the bill is, so far.

More work on the SEAC today.

Wired in the tacho but the mods speedy cables did to it did not work with the Emerald ECU .. very disappointing.

Bit of detective work on one of the fans - decided to rewire it tomorrow, so that both fans run off the Revotec replay and come on together.

Plan for tomorrow is the fan and attempt to tune the progression .. as soon as the 8 throttles open it is lean .. so needs more fuel. The engine currently starts and idles like a dream .. fantastic considering it has an M256 cam yikes

Also made some progress during the week on the top of the air box. More work needed next week.

Just over 6 volts coming out of the Emerald tacho feed .. that wont work.

Work done on the progression fueling .. now much better.

Also adjusted fans - so they turn on at approx 82 degrees.

The thermometer says it`s -24 deg. C out there. The ticking of the clock in the Tiv and the Christmas lights timer is all that`s happening out there.

Started on the "New Year" list. Jobs jobbed today:

- Fixed up cracked front indicator lens
- Rear sidelight sorted out.
- Clutch fluid changed.
- Small hole in exhaust patched.
- Aligned screenwash jets.
- Trial LED lamps.
- Top up brake fluid (very occasionally the warning light would come on for a second).
- Checked slight play in top steering UJ, doesn't seem too bad, slapped grease all over it.

Half way there....

Took rear bumper off the 350i to discover that one of the brackets has completely rusted away. Fibreglass is totally blown on the inside but also quite noticeable protruding rectangles now showing on the outer face. I've got a good second hand one but will need to modify it a little to suit the current exhaust outlets.

Hi Keith.

Are those washers on the thread?...Are they boot side?....Just thinking out loud that maybe some 5mm rubber spacers behind the metal ones that sit against the plates?.....

Looks an interesting one.....

Do you have a picture of the fixing in the boot at all?...

Cheers
