Overhauling the cooling system

Decided to overhaul my cooling system today. Took the radiator out flushed it. Out popped an old otter gromit (I wonder if it caused a rad blockage as the car wouldn't cool down whilst on the move?)

Anyway, the rad is looking very tired so I wondered if anyone out there could recomend a good recon place.

Also, the best place to get some new hoses? The TVR Centre in Barnet is near but I don't want to pay extortionate prices.

There is a Serc Marston in St Albans, they upgraded mine to 3 row for £150

Berkshire Radiators in Reading did mine for £150 plus VAT

I'm getting a 4 core racing upgrade from Serc Marston for £165 plus VAT. Apparently my rad was a 3 core but was well shot.

I'm going to put some new hoses on too and a Fan overide switch.

I'll let u know how it all goes.

Got mine re-cored and fully refurbished for £130 + vat,have to wait till Thursday to pick it up
