The dutch TVR Car Club went to the lakes last week and really had a blast! 23 TVR's of which 5 were wedges; two 350i's (me and my brother), one 390, one 400 and a 430!! We mostly drove in small groups, about 5 or 6 cars and my group had three wedges which make an awsome sound on the small roads and in villages! the route went from new castle (then Kielder forest) to cleator (in the lake district) then to boroughbridge (visited the dales and moors). Had a very nice week with a lot wedge fun! Also want to thank the guys from the cumbria tvr club for visiting us in cleator, we really appreciate it!!!

A friend of mine was talking to the 390 driver sometime on Saturday (red Subaru Imprezza) - I was over there as well (in my 390) but I didn't see any of you!
We were staying in Eskdale, about 20 minutes from Cleator Moor.

I'm sorry to hear that Ian, we were all over the place cause we split up in groups of 5 or 6 cars and don't always follow the same routes. You were very welcom to have a beer with us. About the 430 it has a light blue metal colour.

I believe the 430 belongs to Hans Dalehusen, see owners/gallery on www.tvrwedgepages.co.uk.
Glad you had a great trip.
