I think I can guess where that came from - it looks kind of familiar!

It should do! Peninsula did themselves proud, I've had loads of good comments. How's the SEAC, it seems to be a bit famous at the moment. I'm looking forward to getting to drive it in GT4

Does your car have trailing arm suspension?

Yes it does, goes through trailing arm bushes like you wouldn't believe. It's also got a powerlock LSD fitted.

It's the Sierra 2.0L 4WD engine. Standard setup with turbo. Rated at 234BHP with Cats, but I don't have to have them so hoping for a little more!! Mated to a T5 box and LSD. The trailing arm suspension and drive shafts seem like the weak area.
I asked about the type of suspension because I couldn't find anyone to supply a roll bar for an early Wedge with TA suspension.....so I ended up making my own.

Should be almost the same as the new one. Quite different to the one you had at Virginia Water though. Notice much difference?

The new bar looks much stronger. It is a nicer design, and really fills the roof hoop. The angled sides also give the bar a much micer look, the sideways profile.
STill get quite a lot of intrusive differential noise in the cabin when travelling at speed, but it makes a useful mount point for the harnesses and the cam-corder mount.
I had my Bar colour coded too ( see previous thread with Pix ). Everyone that has seen it comments how nice it looks.

Never suffered from diff noise on mine - Peninsula were preparing some Tasmin racers during my rebuild and threw my diff in with the others for internal polishing
Can really tell when the UJs fail though, I've had two fail in 18 months

As for colour....
I'm with Jason on this; his look good being colour coded with his dark paint. But I think mine also looks good in Silver because I have a light interior and light paint.
IMHO It probably needs to compliment the interior more than the exterior, and should definitly compliment as least one of the two!

polished Diff ... bloody hell, thats even more radical than my balanced drive shafts!.

Have to agree with duncan here too. his car is really accentuated by the bar colour.

Jason,
Mobile again? What's the tale on the engine?
A bar will go in the SEAC over this winter what thoughts on colour please. Exterior is Yellow - Interior is Blue carpets (&hood) and light grey seats (blue piping). I was thinking blue to match the carpets and hood with either grey(if available) or yellow Sabalt harnesses
Thoughts!

Easiest way I found was fotango.com. It's all on there. When you've uploaded pics click on "get link for this picture" then copy and paste into a post with [pic] at the front followed by [/pic].
Hope this helps.

Yep, mobile, car is back at Peninsula on the 11th for 1500 mile oilchange. and to replace a snapped speedo cable. car is absolutly awsome to drive now.. so much torque, so much more power lower down the rev range.
