Need 2 M-140 center caps

The tire company that put my new tires on my '84 280i lost one of my caps then damaged a second one they kept to try to find a new one. I was hoping someone who bought new rims didn't have any more use for the old ones. I bought an m-141 cap which has a slightly smaller diameter. Has anyone ever made these fit? If so, how?
