Hello again everyone. Just off to recce the route for tomorrow - and my Chimaera has decided not to play! Dropping off a case of wine at a mate's it sicked up some coolant and obviously has a leak.

So I'll be coming tomorrow...in the Porsche! Everyone pretend hard its a Tiv please!

Might be able to make it tomorrow, but will be on my own in the TVR if I do - Cosmic has other commitments.

See you there. Or not, as the case may be.

Fantastic run out Don, really enjoyed it and my cheeks ache from grinning

Scenic Run think I was too busy trying to keep up to notice the scenery

Nice to see everyone - great to see the wedgies too.

You are very welcome, Mrs Zee. I will most certainly be doing some more runs next year....

I think I might resurrect the Pie And Drive I route for a laugh and see if Sean would let us up on the roof again!

Had a great time - thanks for sorting that route, Don.

As for Mrs. Zee's grin - I could see it every time I looked in the mirror.

Had a bit of a scare on the way home. The overheating I noticed on our run got worse and I got to home with the temperature registering almost 100 degC

Anyway, thanks for a good drive and good company over lunch everyone.

Sorry I couldn't make the drive, and then had to leave early. Will try harder next time

Pulled the best tail slide out of the pub car park that I've ever done, shame everyone was still inside!

Rich.

Enjoyed meeting you guys. Gutted I couldn't make the drive, but will make it (Wedge permitting) next time. Venue was a good choice, and I was impressed with the turnout. Somehow driving home in the Volvo was a bit flat .
Still trying to get the last broken stud out of the block before replacing the water pump, and hope to be mobile later this week.

You should have come to the drive in the Volvo. I'm sure one of us would have offered up their passenger seat for the duration of the run.

That 3wedge picture is awesome. It was lovely to see your cars chaps. I felt somewhat inadequate in the exhaust note department - next time, hopefully the Chimaera will be happy to come out and play...then I can blip the throttle under the bridges too....

Jason, the drive through town wicked... would have been cool to be standing at the end of the tunnel to hear the combined roar of the big bad wedges

Was that some kind of turbo MR2 i went past earlier? It was all big exhausts and silly air scoop up the side of it - he put his foot down when he saw me comming and thing sounded like a suped-up Dyson when i past it but i was too busy looking at the narrowing road in front me to have a look at what it was !

The drive in the morning was brilliant too, thanks to Don for a great route! Its was good to meet you guys and see some other wedges too. Must do it again sometime!

Yes, MR2 Turbo. I just didnt have the room to follow you
The side by side bit at the lights was cool too. Got a few looks from the locals.

I have an Idea ..... Having just watched the Escape from Stockholm3 Video, How about put together a Wedges behaving badly Video ? Something to think about. Obviously not causing a nusance and Pissing off the Police, but position a cameraperson in key places, Clamp mount a camcorder to the rollbar for car in car shots ( I have a clamp ).
If we could get a few other Big Bad Wedges too. I have the means to edit digital footage and write to DV tape for mastering / cutting some DVD's / MPEG's

Something to think about, maybe over some Beers for Next Year ?

excellant morning route Don. Nice blast out and seeing Claires grin in the rear view mirror was worthy of putting on my sunglasses!

Got some (v short) video of the tunnel but mainly sounds of my car coming through there. no idea why
If anyone can host the short (5 second) film, I'll mail it across.

and thanks for waiting for me to refuel at the start.

until next time

You are very welcome, sir. Doing the little route and meet reminded me I really should do a few more in '04. I can host the video...

Hey its working great now!

Schnozz' video from the Wedges/Basingstoke/Pint/Pie run.

My BoxS did sound more than a little insipid in comparison!
