I've decided to take the plunge and buy a wedge but am not having much luck with Insurance (the cheapest being £800 for 5000 miles a year). I'm 35 so am no boy racer (mid life crisis may be). Can anyone suggest a good company I could contact

any help gratefully accepted

Try AON risk services in Dudley, classic car policies, they undercut Classicline on both my wedges.

Yep, Aon, Classic Line, TFBell. should be less than half of that.

Check out Tesco (online). I got a great quote for unlimited mileage. Mind you I have >10 years NCB and (whisper it) no points. YMMV.

I'm 31, have a 400SE (second car). Its insured with Classic Line, 3000 miles, garaged at night for £207. It was an extra £70 for 5000 miles, which can be added at any time.
