Wedge Meetings
Discussion
Hello Firefox,
Sorry for the lack of responses this week - been away from my home pc all week and have only just got around to replying. I guess I'm in the sad person category tonight as I have nowhere to go :-(
Anyway, the Suffolk meet has changed location from the Sorrell Horse to the Fynn Valley Golf Club, and is indeed planned for an invasion this Sunday lunchtime. The Golf Club is located just North of Ipswich on the B1077 between Westerfield and Witnesham. (if you go to www.multimap.com and type in Fynn Valley as a search, it shows you the exact location).
I'm not really sure if I will make it this weekend as I have to go to Norwich that day, but if I get time I will stop off on my way back. If my memory serves me correctly, we normally meet at around 12ish onwards. As you drive up the entrance you will see an open area of grass to park on to the right.
If I don't see you there, I hope that you have a good time and will mention to a few people that you may be turning up. The chap who does all the Suffolk region organising is called Mark and drives a blue Tuscan.
Cheers for now,
Dan.

Sorry....been busy decorating and not been on P/H for a few days.....
Ray and I do intend to go to the Suffolk meet...we usually do. My son Daniel is coming home this weekend though to visit. He usually pops up to the meet too, so I hope we will make it.
Anyway J....everyone will be most interested to see your TVR.
Here's a piccy as a little taster for any Suffolk bods out there...
Enjoy...........
Anyone wishing to attend the Suffolk or Mid Essex meets are always more than welcome.

Hey Nick -
YEAH - YELLOW!!!
You have a lovely motor car. Your photos show quite well how the shape was finessed by the gentler nose treatment and the rather good flutings at the front and the sills.
I'd love to put these two side by side. Shame you're so far away.
Happy Wedging!
cheers!

I hope I can try and get to the meet over in Bucks as put forward by rev-erend. Though it is some way away from me.
However - still trying to get together some peeps to meet at say Finchingfield or thereabouts which will alow for cars to come from far and wide. A few have already expressed interest.
However - do not forget the Mid Essex TVRCC meet at Great Totham near Witham next Sunday. It is a great venue and the Mid Essex club people are quite keen on Wedges.
Just a short run up or down the A12 and then a few country miles.
So come on down!www.midessextvr.co.uk/meeting.htm

Rev -
That's a shame. I hope we manage to bump into each other at some time soon. You are clearly an active and knowledgeable Wedger!
Maybe we should see if we can organise meets alternately on either side of the London divide. I believe you expressed some interest in coming along to an Essex (non official TVRCC meet) somewhere nearer to the Herts border.
I'll try to see if I can come along to your Bucks meeting in Feb - but it is difficult for me to plan ahead so far!
Hope you enjoy the visit to Nepal - steer clear of THAT mountain.
cheers!

When it gets warmer... There are quite a few Wedges that get to the Northampton and Herts/Beds meets. We also have a TVR croud that gravitate toward Shefford, Beds. Not sure why, but we meet at the Hare & Hounds in Old Warden or the Red Lion at Dead Mans Cross (nice place honest) both places sell beer and food. The Red Lion Thai food! I will post info on here in the Spring...
