Brrrrrmmmmmmm, roar, brmmmmmmm

At last, she lives again, I was beginning to think she never would!

Engine wiring kind of half bears a resemblance to the diagram that's supposed to be hers! With a few key differences.

Just need to sort out the petrol leak now. I think it was just one of the banjo hoses to the fuel dizzy. Changed it but too dark now and given the amount of petrol I spilt it's probably best to leave her a while before the battery goes back in. It better be that and not a leak from the distributor itself.......

thankyou kind people It was a relief to hear her burst into life after such a long silence, brmmmmmmm

Time to join the AA and book another MOT. Hoping to get further than a mile from home this time!

Oh, but I suppose I should fix the hazard lights first for when she breaks down again!

Knew you could do it.

Now it's JUST the MOT.
I've been out of UK for some time, but I remember they use to terrify me.

Good luck
Jeff

ow! guess I had a beer or two to celebrate, ow!

Yup, I'll fix my hazards@w'end, when it's light again. I need a garage which isn't full of motorbike and car related bits!

Then AA membership, then MOT at a time/date I won't admit to until after the event
