Re V8 Throttle Pot
Discussion
Well I have found that the V12 Jag throttle pot adaptor does fit the V8 (one screw doesn't quite line up - but 2 hold it fine)

and is less than £20 (makes the £200+ conversion kit from RPI seem a touch pricey!!).
I did need to make an adaptor to connect the spindles together, not too tricky though.
Anyway I have a secondhand newer throttle pot, although I was told it was faulty, which I was using to fit the modification. I thought I would test it and found that it had a resistance of 5 Mohm whereas the original one was 5 Kohm. I couldn't adjust it below .7v (should be around .3v).
Are the later throttle pots a different value?
Now all I need to do is find a good throttle pot and I have saved over £100
