exhausts

very tempted to buy an exhaust system from ACT. Was tempted to get a system with straight through i.e. no silencers. Have been told else where that this would sound terrible like a car with a burst exhaust. Maybe one silencer required. Any suggestions guys, would be appreciated.
Also blueflame to exhaust systems, any thoughts of these exhausts compared to ACT?Cheaper, poorer quality?

ACT uses the JP exhaust from Macclesfield, apparently cheaper than buying dircet. 12 years on my car so far. One box is fine and you won't be able to do track days without it; still get popping and banging...

Keep the central pipe - the cars are load with it anyway.
