You would also need to look at transmission and drive train upgrades as well... I speak from experience. The standard train that you have will simply break very very quickly. Everything starts becoming a consumable.

HI,
can any body help me. i have noticed a decent v8 4.0 supercharged jag engine for sale at the right money. Would the supercharger fit the rover v8, or is any one aware of this engine being fitted to a wedge. i am considering uprating and changing the standard v8 in my wedge that is now a little tired. any help on this will be appreciated.
Thanks
Steve

Having done this kind of thing in my yoof...

I can tell you in normally results in a lot of expense and heart ache.

You can only imagine my delight when a small car company started putting biger and bigger V8's in to light good handling chassis's...

Yes - TVR.

I would recommend selling your car and just buying another with a bigger engine.

It's much cheaper in the long run.

rather than working in the garage... I must be getting old !

Lamborghini also did a 2.0L V8 for the Urraco - similar tax reasons - most companies in Italy did this if they had a larger engine.

I've been in touch recently with someone who has bothe a 2.0 Urraco and 2.0 Ferrari 208!

All god fun I'm sure but quite gutless too no doubt.
