We all went to the 'fish and eels' - it's a lovely pub by a weir .. nice !
no i've got a much better idea for a TVR tow car, even sourced all the bits just dont have the space for another project
s1 fixed head tasmin on ebay last week 410 quid
l/r 90 rolling chassis with log book from a mate 500 quid.
spare 3.9 v8 already in the garage
spare r380 box likewise....
i think a 4x4 v8 tasmin tow car would be cool especially if painted the same colour as the racer
( either black or paridise purple for next season i hope)

Hey Rev-erend...i've been to Nepal mate, if your in Katmandhu ,there is a cracking restaurant down a side street not far from the royal palace ,great place to get hammered!! .If i remember the name i'll let you know...
p.s. we flew up to the peak of Everest in a Beech 1900 aircraft , cos' of all the crashes they have up on the moutains....we wanted to have a 'blessed' aircraft ,so we chose BUDDHA airways
of course you could have chosen 'YETI' (honest!) airways ,but we were told they were a bit 'HAIRY'
BOOM BOOM !

So you weren't at all worried when you got on the Beech 1900 then?
I thought the ceiling for that aircraft would be lower than 30,000 ft. - and it is! Max ceiling 25,000 ft.! Must be quite daring those Nepal Air pilots!

I thought there was some trouble going on in Nepal at the moment. Have you checked with FCO?

Firefox....i am worried about every aircraft that i fly on ,that i haven't fixed myself !!!
The Beech tour was great ,we flew up the range and got some nice shots of the peaks, like i said we flew 'up to the peak' i.e. not over it but decent enough to fly to what looked like at least level with it, allowing for parallax error of course)
It's one of those 'once in a lifetime' experiences that ranks up there with the time me and SWMBO flew into the Grand Canyon in a helicopter for a champagne breakfast
...or driving down Las Vegas boulevard with roof off in the early hours on a hot hot night
or flying round the peak of mount Kilimanjiro in Africa that was quite good too!!
...seeing the stone heads on Easter Island ....which was nice
or swimming on the King's beach in Tonga that was quite good too......
SHUT UP FATHER TED YOU ARE GETTING BORING!
