Stainless Steve's SEAC v Countach
Discussion
very good article and the bit about lambourginis being like canapes and etiquete and TVR's being chips and swearing, so the lambo is a bugger to drive which is what makes the wedge faster as it is easier to get the best out of , what a pity we dont see many wedges on the roads, and i now want one , a big one , anyone want a chimaera

It's the end of Jan and I'm still waiting for the mag to make it to W. Australia. I think it's coming by camel.....
The suspense is killing me.
I'll scan and send it if you can't wait.
(As long as Steve, or anyone, has no copyright issues )

I know nothing

Don't get the hump now......
Oh dear
Ever see that Father Ted episode on the plane where Dougal is looking at the button that say's "do not press". He know's he shouldn't but.....
Happened here tonight. Reporting to sad camel jokes annon tomorrow. Sorry. Won't happen again.
Got the mag within a couple of days of seeing this thread. The mag is looking very dog eared due to me re-reading the article.
Just goes to show that those of us in the know realise what great value performance cars wedges are.
The Lambo is a great looking car and always will be, but the cost of ownership and driving practicalities relegate it to being a bit of jewelery.
The TVR is far more practical, easier to drive in town and more fun. Getting similar acceleration performance to the Lambo for alot less cash. Know which one I would have ----Big Bad Wedge.
I did read an article somewhere that a Countach needs a new clutch every 5000 miles. My 450 needs a new clutch, and its done 50,000 miles.... I rest my case melud !!!

I have been trying to find this magazine but apparently it doesn’t come to Houston. I tried to order a copy of the article direct from the publisher but no response. Would anybody be willing to scan and email me a copy? Thanks Grady
Send me your direct email address and I'll do it tomorrow.
Mark
I've scanned the story so if anyone wants it I'll email so advise me of your email address and I'll forward it. I can only do today as I'm on holiday for a week tomorrow but can carry on when I return.
I tried to put pics on the Fotango public section but it was unavailable. If anyone can help sharing this let me know. Steve and copyright owners permitting
