Any ideas where i can get some new custom fit carpet mats? The ones ive got are getting a bit old and are dark burgundy but the rest of the carpets are red. Any suggestions appreciated.

Got mine from Auto Style, had a shelf mat made up too so if they kept the pattern you could get the complete set, not cheap but they look great.

Be careful of fitting of new carpet mats - esp in driver's footwell. My car has total new interior and the throttle kept on getting jammed under the new carpet. Carpet now resides in the boot!

Been there .. done it ... accelerated at full throttle towards a parked car passenger screaming !!...
dipped throttle, stopped, threw mat in bin.

Jason -

That made me laugh - shouldn't really though! You soon develop a knack of hooking your right foot UNDER the throttle. However, I now drive with greater confidence with the mat/carpet in the boot.

cheers!

Damn .. Just been let down by my upholsterer .. usual story ... leave it for 6 weeks, arranged to call him first week in January. Called only to be told that January is fully booked and it will be mid fed !... anyway, just found a new company who have agreed to match his prices £250 - £300 for new carpets throughout. this includes a set of mats all edged to match the interiour.
Also got a quote for new seat coverings whilst they are at it and have an all in quote of about £800 - £900.

Car is booked in for the 7th Feb
Their website is out of date, but the contact info is correct.

Yes they have because they used my car to make the templates in Nov 1996. If you have access to the April 1997 issue of Sprint it tells you all about it. They modified the 350 template to fit - photo on page 30 is living proof of the templates' existence! I suspect that since moving premises they have forgotten/lost the templates but in their old workshops, all the brown paper temlates were hung up in alphabetical order by manufacturer.
