Today my instruments misted up. One of the driveshaft UJ's failed last week and had to be replaced. The rear tyres are almost worn away. I need a new screenwash pump - again! The gearstick knob keeps unscrewing, as does the little knob on the handbrake lever - something to twiddle while waiting for the lights to change ;^)

Dontcha just love Wedges!!!

can i add to the list of 'while at the traffic lights' :

- handbrake rubber sleeve needs sliding up, again
- windows need fine adjustment to try to prevent water/wind ingress (hopeless)
- play with glovebox lid in vain attempt to prevent future 'drop down' event
- watch temp guage and ponder whether to manually swicth fans on (nervously)
- check gearknob tightness, again, (as per your previous note) and then wonder if there's enough time before 'green' to get allen key out of glovebox and tighten grub screws...and oh heck no there isn't but I've done one of three so now it's REALLY loose and sloppy...just as gloverbox lid bangs down again and you miss 2nd gear....

yes i must love my wedge.!

No what you need to do is remove all the boot floor carpet and drill a couple of drain holes smile

Worked a treat for me, no more sponge to hold the water and just drips out as fast as the rain drips in yikes

A few more for the list; readit
1) Low beam only working when it wants...not really a problem as high beam is crap and nobody flashes me even if I leave it on!
2) Front nearside wheel bearing needs looking at.
3) Drivers side electric window has gone very slow.
4) Replace rear discs as one is warped.
5) Get power steering rack reconditioned as one of the high presure seals is leaking.
6) Get No2 bottled refilled
7) Change oil and filter, antifreeze etc

And to be quite frank.....I can't be arsed at the moment, too knackered to care frown

Replace rear discs as one is warped

Jack back wheels of the ground In gear, rev the engine and hold the angle grinder up against the warped disk. Saves loads of time.

Tell 'em you were drunk and incapable of rendering a fair contract on your own behalf. If my understanding of English common law is up to snuff, that renders the contract null and void. Give them the money back and retain your wedge. smile

Lie if you have to. wink
