Few of us will be lucky to drop onto plates such as Steve's 450 TVR or Seamus's A400SE however I've been saving up to buy B15EAC and C15EAC off the DVLA one for the 420 and one for the SEAC Rally project BUT someone beat me to C15EAC - Anyone here? I bought B15 though and couldn't afford D15EAC!

In a few weeks time - my very dodgy number plate is going to be in a national car magazine.

Wonder if I'll get a visit from the old bill ?

I've got CXI 390 on the 390. As soon as Merc or BMW bring out some sort of 390, or somebody brings out a CXI, it's going up for grabs. Better still, somebody could bring out a CXI 390.

I've got A1 3.5 TAS. Don't think it's worth a lot, but it did only cost £200. Bargain as far as I was concerned.

Be careful in the Thames Valley - I have it on good authority that there is a certain PC who is making it his lifes work to nick all incorrectly spaced/moded plates.. I of course like to live dangerously like yourself

Have they ever released A400 TVR? Or A390 TVR, A280 TVR etc....?

The only A*** TVR plate that seems to have been made available was sold in Mar 2002 to a PHer (was on the same auction as mine). The other A*** TVR plates are still not allocated - put enough emails to the DVLA and I would think they soon would be.

DVLA auction results:
A350 TVR Sold in Mar 2002
350 TVR Sold in Mar 1990
400 TVR Sold in Nov 1993
450 TVR Sold in May 1990

Of course TVR 1 is for sale - last I saw it was at £24,995 - bargain! Well if you've bought a Typhoon at £75k plus what's 25k - pocket money!!

I would like to change my plate to something car related. Bit pricey some though
Recently saw B16 WEJ in the (i think) autotrader. Would quite like that.

Not very Wedgie, but I once owned RPG5. It was on a Cotton Trials car and I sold it for £10.... Was this a mistake?
(It was in 1966 when transfers weren't as easy...)

My first car was a Ford Consul , with the registration TVR 435. Didn't know what a TVR was in those days.

OK -

Not TVR or Wedge related but we had JOE 90 on an Austin A40 Devon in the late 50's early 60's - people weren't aware of number plates in those days!

I also had to let NCE 7 go with my unroadworthy and non-MOT'd Lamborghini in 1988 - no MOT no transfer - was a bit broke at the time and the engine was in bits in the boot!
