Well I've lost one and the car looks awful with just one small badge missing.

Have emailed Peninsula as I found an old thread that suggested they might have some.

Failing that any other ideas? Someone also mentionned the factory might still have some, but can't find how to get in touch with them, any email addresses or phone no's anyone?

Finally has anyone had some made up, are they as good as the originals??

DP - think you had this problem last year?

Cheers

Steve

Cheers Streaky,

yep I did find this thread on a search and but it didn't answer all the questions. Hard to please me! Searches failed to show me how to contact the factory

Interested to note that Jason's photos show his discs held in place without the (rusty) screw that mine has? How should they be secured?

Alan your concern is touching, though you were probably only worried about the wedge!

Anyway I have had an accident, accidentally lost the bloody wheel centre

Steve.
Im just about to have my OZ wheels overhauled, spoke to parts at factory and they do have TVR logo for wheel centre in stock but will only sell to dealers. I have also got some being made at my local Van signwriting shop, £32.00 for six. (2 spares. Have had heater control label made by them and it was good.

Thanks Martin, might come back to you for the number of the Van shop if I can't source any (rather than re-inventing the wheel - pun intended)

Have you got them yet and are you as pleased with the results? I would guess at that price there would be quite a few other Wedge owners who would like a few spares??

Steve

Steve.
Have found TVR part number for logo disc for wheel centres, it is 035G028A, and they are in stock at factory, it appears factory ones are super glued on. The ones I'm having made are super sticky backed, if it sticks to a van it must be sticky. Let me know if you still want details and photo's of ones I'm having made.

Thanks Martin.

S'funny I spoke with Jason at Peninsula yesterday as he hadn't responded to my email and he thought they were no longer available from the factory! Put him straight of course with your experience and I am waiting for him to come back to me.

Sticky sounds good (no ugly screw heads) but does this mean discarding them each time you need to take the wheel off? (hence the spares??) Might they start to peel off given the crud that the wheel picks up?

Just thinking aloud, wonder what the other boys have done, can't believe we're the only one's facing this issue. Where's DP400SE, he had this problem last year. Come on Dave, whaddya do??

Steve.
You've confused me, are we talking about same thing. The logo is in the centre of the chrome wheel nut cover, on mine the cover is removed by a screw on the rim of the cover so the logo do'es not get touched.
You're not after the whole cover plate are you.
Look under Neil Hyde's name in members
Topic Damaged/Old Wheels.
Are we talking about same part.

Just been to have a look. For some reason I had it in mind that the disc covered the locknut!

Getting the coat now.

Hi DP - please let us know how you get on with your wheels (including the disks) Interested cos Peninsula told me on the phone they couldn't get the black discs and I've still not heard from them.

Dunno what to do now?? Sleep on it I reckon!

Hi Steve, hope enjoying the wedge in this weather.. Like DP mine are with renowheel at the mo, and having the centres redone at the same time which will mean new stickers.. The factory don't have any of the old 350i centre badges but do have the 400 SE badges, this maybe where Peninsula are getting confused?? Other alternative is try Henley & see if they can get them in from the factory as dealer only part - or as per previous thred Autographix who made them originally.. Good luck and I hope they can be supplied else I will have to resort to "TVR" engraved centres..

Good call Seamus, forget HH is just down the road, I'll give'em a try.

Used the Wedge a lot last week but prefer to keep it out of the salt, hope it's fine on the 8th!

Good luck with it Steve... Found out today that there was a problem with the bolts being replated on mine - came out a nice tinge of brown - no problem as they're being redone but may delay the car further so that it won't be back for the 8th - if I can cross it, it's being crossed... enjoy the tail slides in the snow

Update : HH think they may have them in stock

They want me to bring the car across so it'll have to wait until the slippery stuff's gone.

Seamus, 8th, all's not lost, I may have a spare seat.

Sean, i think my wheels will be coming back from Renowheel at the same time as yours, and my car will be coming back from Peninsula on the same lorry as yours. So if your cars not expected back by the 8th, mine probably wont either. I think ill be on the phone to Richard tomorrow!

Hmmmm - two 400 wedges (with sparkling wheels and more) on the back of the same truck, you need to get some pictures!

Hope it's before the 8th!
