If only I had eleven grand lying around doing nothing. Ooh, tomorrow is a roll over, I'll have to buy a ticket and keep my fingers crossed.

Just had a really wicked , I wonder if the seller would be interested in a well sorted 400 , I'm sure I could could convince MrsH that twin red 420SEAC's would look good on the drive

Oh dear, suddenly I can see myself spending something IRO of £11k. Sod this "1980's 911 is a sensible second car" b0llocks. There I was looking for an old 911 to do 6k a year in whilst my Chimaera was having its latest service / mishap and this pops up...
Go for it.... It will sound a hole lot better en all
But can I convince the girlfriend of the merits of two TVR's? She is not exactly keen on the first, having an inexplicable predilection for all things German - SLK / Boxster / S3 et al (but thankfully not TT!)
Sod it, who cares, I'm sure that she will come around to the way of the Blackpool bullet.

I think this is the SEAC that almost went to Australia which Chunder was buying.
Sorry for Chunder that it fell through but nice to see it stop in this country.
And yes I am slightly tempted
Andy
This is the one I had to pull on - the car is immaculate, full kevlar and rose joints, recent engine makeover, very original and IMHO worth every cent of the asking price and then some.
This SEAC may be staying but I did buy the 450SE that was on PH recently - is now in a container at Tilbury docks and leaves Sunday for an April 7th arrival here.
Doesn't really compare with the SEAC but fell into my price range so well pleased with the deal - looking forward to showing the Aussies what a V8 should sound like !
Congrats chunder - shame you had to pull out of the SEAC but at least you've got a wedge coming.. and a nice one at that..
Had an email from Steve re the SEAC - does sound like a good car - pretty original as well by all accounts - tried to convince the missus but a Mini Convertible is next on her wanted list..

Not a bad second then a 450SE ! I bet the roof will never be up over there
Cheers,
Andy
