Does anyone know the correct wheel nut torque settings I've looked in the bible and handbook and no mention of them. Anyone fitted locking wheel nuts if so what ones are best. Wheels are 5 spoke OZ split rims on 450SE.

I use Trilock locking wheel nuts. Easy fit and same wheels as yours. Got them from RT Racing mail order.
I think the wheel nut torque is about 35. I had it written down somewhere, but I can't find it now! It was was in my 350SE handbook, but as you say isn't mentioned in the 'newer' 450 style handbook.

I thought the figure was nearer 80? Out of book somewhere that I can't find at the mo. Also I have Halford type security ones with a castled jobby to insert into the head to remove. LN 10? lost the box now.
