Recommended garage

Hi all,

I live in the Fareham area (Hill Head) and need the services of a garage to fettle the old wedge. Needs a balljoint, U/J's (one at least) and a service/MOT etc. I don't pay main dealer money! I know there are a few wedge owners in the area so any suggestions as to where I can find a mechanic with a good reputation will be very welcome.

You could try Dave Batty he's just outside Godalming. He could do all your work and get you an MOT.

Try these people.....Ian Tinsey, Crucial Automatics, The Tannery, East Street, Tichfield.
I have known Ian for years & he looks after my 400SE,
he is so enthusiatic about anything with a V8 motor!
He is also close to your home, I live in Havant so handy for me too.

What does this guy in Tichfield do for you? Is he an engine specialist or does he do the lot? Iam on Hayling, so I hope to see you some time

As the name suggests, the business specialises in auto-trans, but Ian has many years experience as a technician at Honda & Jeep main dealerships, as well as V8's. He does all the work on my 400SE, including MOT prep, not that there have been any issues with my car anyway. All I can say, is give him a call.
