my chassis number is 5820 99 further on than on chalk board it was registered 20.08 1984 i wonder if they had learnt much by then?

Dave Waterfall (formerly dw350i on here) offerd me a spare hood from his written-off but previously immaculate car, it had rounded corners to the window. He may still have it if anyone's in need...

I'd kind of got used to the 'faded denim with holes in the knees' look, but it would be nice to smarten the car's outer appearance up a bit more since I'm recarpeting and sorting the interior (at last).
