Swansea fortnightly evening meet

After talking about this at brekkie yesterday have decided to get the evening meet back up and running
The next meet will be on tue 4th sept at 7 o'clock lets try get a good turnout for this hope too see you there

Power steering pump has failed Huw, so off the road for a few days.

BUMP: Afternoon it seems that the evening meet hasn't really taken off as well as expected don't really want to stop it so any ideas to bring in more cars please post away

Why not have only one evening meet in the middle of the month and possibly move it to early on a Sunday evening, as during the week most people will have only just come in from work so it won't be as much of a rush to get back out.

Maybe consider moving location as well? Somewhere with a pleasant view near the coast?

Just a couple of ideas, what does everyone else think?

We have a well attended south west Wales meet so maybe move it to the east a bit to get more people from that way to attend.
Somewhere in Sa1 perhaps. Nice and easy to get to off m4.

I was thinking somewhere around the marina area or similar Huw, could be nice there especially in the summer evenings. I'm sure some of the Swansea attendees could suggest a suitable pub/cafe.

Personally i think a meet down the swansea area towards the marina or even mumbles would be pretty good.
Sunday evening is probably the best for most people as it gives people time to clean cars and generally get ready etc.

I know i would be more than up for making an appearance.

Agreed.

A week day is impossible due to work, early Sunday's are taken up watching my son play rugby so an afternoon would be ideal for me.

What about Starbucks down the SA1? It has a car park and is easy to access off Fabian way. There a few other Cafes but I'm not sure how close we could park?

The Pump House in the Marina has a reasonably sized car park attached to it.

I might be going to Swansea tomorrow so if I remember I'll have look to see if it's pay and display.
