That's the John Judd V8 in the Lotus right? Love the tennis balls in the trumpets. You don't see that at the Ecclestone show any more.

Good to see a few fellow PHers down there this weekend.
If anyone feels inspired to go racing let me know. The WRDA is great way to start racing.

Didn't see you out for long in the third (?) session yesterday Huw, the one that was red flagged and then re-started. I did see you head down to the pits and then re-appear about 30 seconds later going in the opposite direction.
Did any famous drivers turn up in the end? Lots of rumours but didn't see any one yesterday.

Wheel nuts were coming loose so good job I came in before I turned into a 3 wheeler!! I didnt see any F1 drivers.

It was a good event. I hope they do it again and build on it more. I'm sure more car clubs could have come along and put on more of a display of static cars.
It was good bump in to some of the Pistonheads guys over the weekend as well, I need to get to more meets.

One thing a few people commented on was how poorly advertised this was. I only found out about it on here and there wasn't a single sign anywhere on the main road indicating it was on and you could have driven by without ever knowing.

Thought I would resurrect this thread seeing as there is another Welsh Festival of Motorsport on 25th and 26th May. If anyone is thinking of coming there are loads of nice pics in this thread and I am told a number of F1 cars will be back this year.
