Did a run out this morning, taking in the above from the Llandovery to Brynaman side.

Every bit as good as any mountain pass I've done in Europe.

Me in my Brera, my pal in his M3!

Stunning biggrin

As a drive it's hard to beat when the weather is good and the traffic (including sheep and horses) is minimal. I made a quick vid when I went up their with my good lady a few years ago. Sadly the SD card corrupt so only got part of the run frown

I've been up a few times recently in a 'loan' car whilst mine is still having a few bits done... but the weather has been awful each time. Roll on the summer smile

Found another cracking road this arvo. The A4059 from the Beacons reservoir to Penderyn near Hirwaun. Pretty amazing smile

Indeed that area of Wales is magnificent to drive in with so many glorious motoring runs. I personally enjoy the Tregaron to Llanwrtyd Wells mountain road immensely. However I think caution is needed when the roads are frosted and liable to upset the plans. Wonderful area to enjoy leisure motoring particularly before the crowds begin.
