Not only content with getting people in the 50mph zone heading towards Wales and the tool booths, they also seem to be having a go at the westbound traffic heading out of Wales and towards England

Fair enough checking people's speed west bound as they speed down on the toll booth operators who are safe behind solid concrete and steel bars.

But east bound when there is no danger of speeding towards stationary traffic at a toll booth? How can they justify this??? I'd like to ask for the number of KSI heading eastbound at that location and see what nonsense they come back with.

Also they decided to place there van nice and safely out of view of the westbound traffic so that drivers could not warn other drivers of their impending doom to the really dangerous stretch of road!

I was cruising at 73 with cruise control and saw them a while before I reached them but only because I knew where to look. but it makes me angry that they hide and why speed check a 70mph road with no apparent danger?

They've been doing this for years. I got busted 10 years ago doing 109mph following traffic I knew it was not accurate. I contested it, went to court. I was told before I entered the court room that the speeding was dropped because of no evidence. I was then given 3 points and 200 ish fine for not filling out the form correctly!!!

I wore a suit for that day. I got st on. I watched a few chavs turn up in tracky bottoms to attend court for GBH. All they got was a suspended sentence. Whole system is wrong! It's like the Jeremy Kyle show at court.

I just treat every bridge as possible location, as said, they are not unknown there.

Pencoed (JCN35) again yesterday lunchtime and another on the way into Bridgend on the 50 section dual. More annoying are the drivers braking and changing lanes in a panic. The one at Pencoed is usually denoted by the host of brake lights before the bridge and a gaggle of cars trying to get to the inside lane.

It may be a coincedence, but on Tuesday morning there was a bike cop with a radar gun on the bridge just past Sarn (eastbound. He is there on a fairly regular basis. There was also an Astra facing the wrong way on the central reservation with an Ambulance & Fire Engine in attendance.
